The Philosophy

Transhumanism is an intellectual movement that advocates using technology to enhance human capabilities beyond their natural biological limits. It views the current human condition—including aging, cognitive limitations, and mortality—not as immutable features of existence, but as engineering problems to be solved.

The term was popularized by philosopher Max More in the 1990s, though the underlying ideas trace back to Julian Huxley in the 1950s and earlier thinkers who believed humanity could direct its own evolution.
