For over 25 years, I’ve been focused on what happens when machine intelligence surpasses human intelligence, and what that means for the future of humanity.
This isn’t science fiction. It’s the defining event of our species, and we’re already in the acceleration phase of the Singularity.

I studied computer science in college and spent 18 years as a software engineer in the federal government, building large-scale systems. I retired early and started focusing full-time on what I believe matters most: understanding and tracking the intelligence explosion.
In 2000 I picked up the book The Age of Spiritual Machines and it reframed my view of the future. Kurzweil laid out the exponential curves, the convergence of artificial intelligence and biology, and the implication that our generation might be the last to age and die. I’ve held that conviction for 25 years now. Nothing has weakened it. If anything, the timelines have only compressed.
Don’t die. Get smarter. Merge with the machines.
Because of AI we are entering an intelligence explosion that will end biological limitation and create posthuman beings. AGI, longevity research, human-machine merger, and nanotechnology are parallel paths to the same destination: the Singularity, where biology becomes optional and intelligence becomes abundant.
